If Apple Valley wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Burroughs, they should've done a better job of containing Lillah O'Grady. The Burros put the hurt on the Sun Devils with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday thanks in part to O'Grady, who had seven digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Burroughs never let Apple Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-23.

Several Sun Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was SALLY BALLAT, who had eight digs and two aces.
