Volleyball Recap: Campolindo Cougars vs. Sacred Heart Prep Gators
With a playoff win on the line, Campolindo rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Sacred Heart Prep Gators 3-2.
Campolindo had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 23-25, 25-14, 25-14, 15-12.
Campolindo can attribute much of their success to Evey Uziel, who had three digs and three aces.
Uziel wasn't the only good servers: Campolindo was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive contests.
