Volleyball Recap: Campolindo Extends Home Winning Streak to 20 + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Campolindo rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Sacred Heart Prep Gators 3-2.

Campolindo had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 23-25, 25-14, 25-14, 15-12.

Campolindo can attribute much of their success to Evey Uziel, who had three digs and three aces.

Uziel wasn't the only good servers: Campolindo was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive contests.

Campolindo's win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-8. As for Sacred Heart Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-8.

Looking ahead, Campolindo will square off against Buchanan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sacred Heart Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
