Baseball Recap: North Schuylkill Comes Up Short

North Schuylkill and Northwestern Lehigh squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but North Schuylkill had to settle for second. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2019.

Hunter Rogers was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

North Schuylkill's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Northwestern Lehigh, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

As of now, neither North Schuylkill nor Northwestern Lehigh have any future games scheduled.
