Congratulations to Tay Johnson, who put up her first points on Tuesday. She posted five points and 11 rebounds as Apalachee took down Mountain View 50-44. We hope Tuesday's game is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Coming up, Johnson and Apalachee are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: Apalachee will take on Loganville Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats closed last season having struggled on the road and they will enter the matchup having lost nine straight away games dating back to last season.
