Volleyball Recap: Homer Takes a Loss

Homer lost against Concord back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Homer sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 23-25, 25-19.

Homer has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 24-20-4 record this season. As for Concord, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-8-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Homer will challenge Centreville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Concord, they will square off against Napoleon at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
