Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Desales Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

After losing to Lincoln the last time they met, St. Francis DeSales decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Stallions came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

St. Francis DeSales got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 30-28.

St. Francis DeSales was led to victory by Gwen Stein and Gabby Winkler. Stein had nine digs and two aces, while Winkler had two aces and one assist. Stein is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

They weren't the only good server: St. Francis DeSales was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive games.
