Stoughton has gone a perfect 3-0 against Big Foot recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chiefs at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Stoughton's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Big Foot has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Stoughton played in-conference for the first time on Thursday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against Mount Horeb by a score of 6-3.

Jaxson Nielsen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. He has become a key player for Stoughton: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 2-6 otherwise. Stoughton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Big Foot, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Stoughton has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Big Foot struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
