Unity Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Athens Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Mallory Harrison paced Unity Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Harrison got some help from Sadie Reiterman and her 12 assists. Reiterman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Unity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 29-8. As for Athens, with the defeat, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 30-8.

As of now, neither Unity Christian nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
