Basketball Game Preview: Chatham HomeSchool Thunder vs. New Life Camp Storm

Chatham HomeSchool and New Life Camp are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Chatham HomeSchool Thunder will head out to square off against the New Life Camp Storm at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chatham HomeSchool is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.7 points per game this season.

Last Saturday, Chatham HomeSchool came up short against South Wake and fell 60-50. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Eric Grotevant, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 13 points and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Baker, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 11 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, New Life Camp also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to St. David's by a score of 57-45.

Chatham HomeSchool's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for New Life Camp, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Chatham HomeSchool beat New Life Camp 61-49 when the teams last played back in February. Will Chatham HomeSchool repeat their success, or does New Life Camp have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
