Matthew Gibson turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three hits surrendered on Monday. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He also allowed no hits, which is notable because Bethesda Christian is 3-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 1-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Gibson and Bethesda Christian are taking a road trip to challenge Park Tudor at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots haven't beaten the Panthers recently, having gone 0-5 since April of 2019.
