Softball Recap: Wasco Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Wasco's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Frontier Titans on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Wasco saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sienna Lugo, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.

Wasco dropped their record down to 3-6-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Frontier, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Wasco will face off against Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kennedy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine runs per game on average), something Wasco will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Frontier, they will challenge Hanford at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
