Volleyball Recap: Chichester Takes a Loss

Chichester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Oxford Hornets, falling 3-0. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Hornets when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chichester took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13, 25-19.

Chichester's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Oxford, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

Chichester wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Sun Valley on the 6th. As for Oxford, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Coatesville on the 2nd.
