Axtell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 51-35 bruising from the Overton Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-35 back in December of 2024.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emily Danburg, who posted 11 points and five boards.
