The third road game was the charm for Ecorse, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They blew past Trillium Academy 11-0 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with Trillium Academy: they've now won nine in a row.

Brayan Santana made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Santana was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jermiah Mack was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lumumba Collins, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Ecorse was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .750. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .500 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Ecorse now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Trillium Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Ecorse will head out on the road to challenge Taylor at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trillium Academy, they will square off against Edison Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
