Soccer Recap: Zephyrhills Comes Up Short

Zephyrhills lost against South Sumter back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Raiders.

Zephyrhills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for South Sumter, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7-1.

Looking ahead, Zephyrhills will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Weeki Wachee at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Zephyrhills will be up against Weeki Wachee's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.14 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for South Sumter, they will venture away from home to square off against Crooms Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
