Baseball Recap: The Meadows School Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for The Meadows School's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montgomery Aztecs on Wednesday. The Mustangs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

The Meadows School saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Benjamin Chilton, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Parker Semenza also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

The Meadows School's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Montgomery, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, The Meadows School will take on Monte Vista in a tournament on Wednesday. The Mustangs are facing the Monarchs at the right time seeing as the Monarchs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Montgomery, they will head out to take on Santana at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
