Baseball Game Preview: Parkside Rams vs. Decatur Seahawks

While Parkside's victory against Bennett wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Parkside's pitchers stepped up to hand Bennett a 1-0 shutout on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Clippers: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Decatur made easy work of Wicomico on Monday and carried off a 17-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Seahawks, who have now won three contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Parkside pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Decatur, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
