Volleyball Recap: Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Bruning-Davenport/Shickley and Sumner-Eddyville-Miller squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Bruning-Davenport/Shickley had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Mustangs. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lily Hrasky, who had 12 digs. Hrasky is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Scoville, who had 15 assists and four digs.
