Basketball Recap: Heritage Skates Past Enloe with Ease

Heritage won the last time they faced Enloe and things went their way on Friday too. The Heritage Huskies took their contest with ease, bagging a 60-8 victory over the Enloe Eagles. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 34 points or more this season.

Heritage found their leader in sophomore CELIA LAVITA, who posted 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points LAVITA has scored all season. Another player making a difference was NIYEON HENDRIX, who put up ten points.

Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.5 points per game. As for Enloe, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Heritage will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Enloe also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against East Wake at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
