Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ronald Smith Jr. and Jamarrius Andrus Lead Morgan Park to Victory

Morgan Park won the last time they faced Bulls College Prep and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 30-18 win over the Bulls. The Mustangs pushed the score to 30-2 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulls cut but never quite recovered from.

Leading Morgan Park to victory were Jamarrius Andrus and Ronald Smith Jr.. Andrus rushed for 103 yards and one score on only 12 carries, while Smith Jr. threw for 152 yards and three TDs. Those 103 rushing yards gave Andrus a new career-high.

Morgan Park's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Carmelow Reed, Khalil Cromwell, and Reggie Gray Jr, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Morgan Park's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.5 points over those games. As for Bulls College Prep, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

As of now, neither Morgan Park nor the Bulls have any future games scheduled.
