Basketball Game Preview: Cypress Lake Panthers vs. East Lee County Jaguars

Having just played yesterday, the Cypress Lake Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the East Lee County Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Cypress Lake will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Immokalee, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Panthers secured a 69-65 W over the Indians on Monday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when East Lee County duked it out with Clewiston on Monday. The Jaguars blew past the Tigers, posting a 77-24 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

East Lee County's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Cypress Lake, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Cypress Lake ended up a good deal behind East Lee County when the teams last played back in December of 2024, losing 81-62. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
