Ocosta had lost five games straight , but after bumping their record up to 3-7 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Oakville Acorns 16-6. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Oakville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

For Oakville's part, Koner Burnett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Burnett has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
