Soccer Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

Greenville came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Greenwood Eagles, falling 4-0. Greenville were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Greenwood earlier this season, when they won 0-0.

Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Greenwood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-7-1.

Greenville has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Mauldin on the 24th. As for Greenwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Woodmont on the 25th.
