Basketball Recap: South Gate Comes Up Short

South Gate saw some tournament action on Monday. They were outmatched by the Villa Park Spartans and fell 92-24.

South Gate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. South Gate will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Carson at 6:00 p.m. on December 3. As for Villa Park, they and La Habra will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played.
