Soccer Recap: Union Grove Comes Up Short

After flying high against Elkhorn on Tuesday, Union Grove came back down to earth. The Broncos fell just short of the Menomonee Falls Phoenix by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Union Grove were not able to make up for their defeat to Menomonee Falls from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Union Grove's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Menomonee Falls, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Grove will take on Beloit Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Menomonee Falls, they will head out to face off against West Allis Hale at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
