TAQUIRA HOOD was a standout: she scored a run while going 3-for-5. KAITLYN TAFOYA was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 5-for-6.

Piedra Vista kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Piedra Vista's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.7 runs over those games. As for Volcano Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Volcano Vista has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .447. However, it's not like Piedra Vista struggles in that department as they've averaged .483. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
