Basketball Recap: Rosa Fort Takes a Loss

Rosa Fort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 54-45 to the North Panola Cougars. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-37 back in December of 2024.

Rosa Fort's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for North Panola, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rosa Fort will face off against Palmer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rosa Fort is facing Palmer at the right time seeing as Palmer is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for North Panola, they and Horn Lake will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
