Basketball Recap: Austin Takes a Loss

Austin came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Bellaire Cardinals, falling 78-33. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-18.

Despite the loss, Austin still got an impressive performance from Ashtian Glass, who posted 22 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Austin fell to 3-1. As for Bellaire, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Austin will head out on the road to face off against Madison at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bellaire, they will challenge Brenham at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
