Eastern Hancock extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 4-3. They blew past the Milan Indians, posting a 40-7 win. The Royals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 33 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eastern Hancock to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elijah Edon, who threw for 281 yards and five touchdowns. Those five passing touchdowns gave Edon a new career-high. Eastern Hancock also got a significant boost from Mark Kube, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 157 yards.

As for Milan, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Having soared to a lofty 68 points in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

When it comes to explaining why Milan lost, don't look at Wyatt Marsh. Despite the final result, he rushed for 110 yards and one TD on only ten carries. Marsh's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

Eastern Hancock wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-6 victory against Shenandoah on the 10th. As for Milan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 48-0 win against South Decatur on the 10th.
