Baseball Recap: Bangs Comes Up Short

Bangs lost against Coleman last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bangs came up short against Coleman, falling 8-2. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaleb Biggs made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Rex Guerrero also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Bangs' loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Coleman, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bangs will take on rival De Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Bangs their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Coleman is set to face off against their familiar foe Winters at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
