Softball Recap: Ross Rams vs. Franklin Wildcats

Ross had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Franklin Wildcats 8-1. This was a revenge contest for Ross, as the team was forced to settle for a 6-3 defeat when these two played last Wednesday.

Paige Baker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. Baker was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Emilee Peters was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Joslyn Crowley, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Ross' win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
