The Charlotte Trojans won the last time they faced the Stacey Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. Charlotte claimed a resounding 62-30 win over Stacey on the road.

Leading Charlotte to victory were Gabby Mata and Evelyn Garcia. Mata dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Garcia scored 16 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. Mata is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadence Luna, who scored 14 points along with five steals.

Charlotte's victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Stacey, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.

Charlotte will be playing at home against Lee Academy of Science & Engineering at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stacey, they will head out on the road to face off against Stockdale at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Stockdale is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
