Volleyball Game Preview: Hardee Wildcats vs. Frostproof Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The Hardee Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Frostproof Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hardee had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Bayshore on Tuesday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Bruins with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bruins: they've now won three in a row.

While Hardee won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-9, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Frostproof narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Haines City 3-2.

Frostproof took Haines City into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-5, 25-15, 22-25, 16-14.

Hardee's record now sits at 9-10. As for Frostproof, their record is now 15-6.

Hardee beat Frostproof 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
