Volleyball Recap: Apalachee Comes Up Short

Apalachee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson County Panthers. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12.

Apalachee's defeat dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Jackson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Apalachee is set to face off against their familiar foe Habersham Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jackson County will challenge rival Alcovy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
