Basketball Recap: Matthew Foley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Eastern Tech over Dulaney

Eastern Tech lost against Dulaney back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eastern Tech Mavericks lost 68-48 to the Dulaney Lions.

Several Mavericks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Matthew Foley, who posted ten points and three steals. Foley has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jericho Wondeye, who went 5 of 8 en route to 10 points.

Eastern Tech's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Dulaney, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Eastern Tech has already played their next game, a 56-55 win against Friends on the 27th. As for Dulaney, they will challenge Patapsco at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Dulaney has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 217 points over their last three matchups.
