Basketball Game Preview: Churchill Chargers vs. LEE Volunteers

The Churchill Chargers will take on the LEE Volunteers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Churchill has four straight wins, LEE has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Churchill will bounce into Wednesday's match after beating Johnson, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Churchill took down Johnson 62-47 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 57 points the game before, LEE was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They took a 46-29 bruising from Madison.

Churchill's victory bumped their record up to 20-13. As for LEE, their loss dropped their record down to 7-24.

Everything came up roses for Churchill against LEE in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 65-34 win. Will Churchill repeat their success, or does LEE have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
