Basketball Game Preview: Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans vs. Chestatee War Eagles

The Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans will venture away from home to face off against the Chestatee War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Greater Atlanta Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.6 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Greater Atlanta Christian beat Dawson County 46-42.

Greater Atlanta Christian found their leader in sophomore Cobi Obi, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds. Those 16 boards set a new season-high mark for Obi. Barri Newman was another key player, putting up 13 points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Chestatee came up short against White County on Tuesday and fell 59-50. The War Eagles haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Chestatee now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
