Preview: Trinity Catholic vs. Lutheran
Lutheran will take on Trinity Catholic in each of the teams' fourth playoff game on Saturday. Averaging 53.67 points per matchup, the Lu ran squad has been an offensive juggernaut in the playoffs, so hopefully Trinity Catholic's defense is prepared for a test.
Lutheran made easy work of Mexico last week and carried off a 42-14 win.
Meanwhile, Trinity Catholic earned some more postseason success in their contest last Friday. They walked away with a 28-14 victory over Priory. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (22) and coasted on those for the victory.
The Cougars ended up a good deal behind the Titans when they played the last time the two teams met in October, losing 34-14. Can Lutheran avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
