Volleyball Game Preview: Calistoga Wildcats vs. Credo Gryphon

Calistoga is 1-9 against Credo since October of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wildcats will take on the Gryphon at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, Calistoga made easy work of Willits and carried off a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Credo had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Grizzlies 3-0.

Credo not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Roseland Collegiate Prep between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-17.

Calistoga's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Credo, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.

Calistoga skirted past Credo 3-2 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
