Basketball Recap: Cut Bank Takes a Loss

Cut Bank was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Fairfield Eagles 69-15. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Eagles are ranked seventh).

Cut Bank's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Fairfield, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Cut Bank will face off against Conrad on January 31st. Cut Bank is facing Conrad at the right time seeing as Conrad is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Fairfield, they will square off against Belt at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fairfield's defense has only allowed 29.1 points per game this season, so Belt's offense will have their work cut out for them.
