Softball Recap: Stephenville FAITH Continues Home Dominance on Friday

While Stephenville FAITH put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Texas Wind. The Knights came out on top against Texas Wind by a score of 5-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 12-4 victory last Thursday.

McKenzi Black made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, Karsyn Bedwell was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Carly Popp was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Stephenville FAITH's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.4 runs over those games. As for Texas Wind, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

As of now, neither Stephenville FAITH nor Texas Wind have any future games scheduled.
