Volleyball Recap: Bishop Ready Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Bishop Ready came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Franklin Heights Falcons as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Silver Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bishop Ready was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-9, 25-11.

Bishop Ready can attribute much of their success to Sophia Dozer, who had nine digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Dozer a new career-high.

Dozer wasn't the only good server: Bishop Ready was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Bishop Ready's record is now 9-1. As for Franklin Heights, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Ready will face off against Grandview Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin Heights, they will square off against Westland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
