Volleyball Recap: Prattville Christian Academy Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Prattville Christian Academy challenged Auburn on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

While Prattville Christian Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Auburn work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 20-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-6.

Olivia Rossi paced Prattville Christian Academy's offense, picking up 18 kills. Rossi got some help from Baylee Rogers and her 50 assists. Anniston Robison controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Prattville Christian Academy's defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 23-9. As for Auburn, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-10.

Prattville Christian Academy and Auburn should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. The Panthers will challenge Saint James at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (31 vs. 105). Meanwhile, Auburn (ranked 18th) will meet Smiths Station (ranked 194th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
