Sebring had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Fort Meade on Thursday. The Blue Streaks were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Miners. The win continues a trend for the Blue Streaks in their matchups with the Miners: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Casey Elfers`, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in February. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Hackett, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI.

Sebring's record is now 11-6. As for Fort Meade, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Sebring and Fort Meade will both be playing Auburndale the next time they take the field. The Blue Streaks will host the Bloodhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Miners will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
