Football Recap: Camden Central Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Camden Central and Westmoreland squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Camden Central had to settle for second. They took a 25-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 7-0 in the first quarter.

Despite the loss, Camden Central still got an impressive performance from Jake Reynoldson, who threw for 130 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Reynoldson's passing game has become a key predictor of the Lions' success: the team is 4-2 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-4 otherwise.

Camden Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Player #18, Amaury Rogers, and Alden Haggard picked up one apiece.

Camden Central now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Westmoreland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Camden Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westmoreland, they will challenge Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers' defense has only allowed 12.3 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
