Basketball Recap: B-G-M Comes Up Short

B-G-M was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 57-50 to the Montezuma Braves. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 320th, while the Braves are ranked 112th).

B-G-M's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Montezuma, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

B-G-M does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Montezuma, they will challenge Sigourney on Thursday. The Braves will need to watch out since the Savages have now posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
