Volleyball Recap: Grand Valley Cardinals vs. Basalt Longhorns
Grand Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Basalt Longhorns. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.
Grand Valley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-19, 25-14, 25-19.
