Soccer Recap: George Walton Academy Takes a Loss

George Walton Academy and First Presbyterian Day squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but George Walton Academy had to settle for second. They lost 9-0 to the Vikings. While getting shut out isn't ideal, George Walton Academy haven't been shut out since back in March.

George Walton Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5-1. As for First Presbyterian Day, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-1.

George Walton Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for First Presbyterian Day, they will square off against St. Anne-Pacelli on Friday. First Presbyterian Day will need to watch out since St. Anne-Pacelli has now posted at least four goals in their last three games.
