Volleyball Recap: Valor Christian's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

With a playoff win on the line, Valor Christian rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Castle View Sabercats by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Valor Christian was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-6, 22-25, 25-20, 25-17.

Bergen Waitman paced Valor Christian's offense, picking up 16 kills. Waitman got some help from Piper McFadden and her 40 assists. Harper Scott controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Despite the loss, Castle View still got an impressive performance from Payton Rowell, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Valor Christian's victory bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Castle View, their defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 14-11.

As of now, neither Valor Christian nor the Sabercats have any future games scheduled.
