Softball Recap: Carl Albert Comes Up Short

The Carl Albert Titans didn't have quite enough to beat the Westmoore Jaguars on Friday and fell 6-5. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parker Budde made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That double was her first of the season. Journi LaValley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Carl Albert's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Westmoore, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carl Albert will challenge Edmond Santa Fe at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Westmoore, they will host Mustang at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday.
